The Gamma Pi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. reactivated in Macon,
Georgia in January 2003. Since that time we have been active with several community organizations. Such
as the American Cancer Society, Rebuilding Together Macon, Macon Rescue Mission, and Tubman Museum ( Pan African
Festival). In addition we directly impact the lives of people each year with our annual Thanksgiving Holiday
Food Basket giveaway.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, an international organization of college and professional
men, was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C. on January 9, 1914. The Founders were Most Honorable
A, Langston Taylor, Most Honorable Leonard F. Morse, and Most Honorable Charles I. Brown. Since then the fraternity
has grown to over 125,000 members comprising of 650 chapters throughout the continental United States, Switzerland, Germany
and Africa.
